Home is where the heart is.
Faraway there is a quiet forest. It is so dense no large creature could live in it. At the heart of the forest is a lake, so still it could be a perfect mirror of the world above. On the lake floats an islet. It is so small, it is surprising it had not disintegrated. Holding the islet together is the Heart Tree, improbably pink and impossibly, thriving on so little soil. The Heart Tree nurtures the forest and is in turn protected by it. Bright blue birds nestle in its branches, surviving in this place where there are no predators to disturb their symbiotic lives with the Heart Tree.
